"Meditation Index" - a new Measure of Man?

Recent research has made the discovery that the corpus callosum - the bundle of neural fibers situated deep inside the brain - is thicker in the brain of long-term meditators than in the average person. More such discoveries point to the possibility that, the more you practice meditation, the more structurally and perhaps physiologically different your brain becomes from the others. Does this property of neural plasticity point to the development of a new Measure of Man? A new measure perhaps, called the "Meditation Index"? This would be something similar to the conventional IQ or EQ. After reaching this stage, we will be able to assess our evolution on the path of spirituality...
