What If - The Fisherman Does Not Discover The Ring
"Abhigyan Shakuntalam", written by Kalidasa, is a favorite play enacted in the junior classes in schools across quite a few south-Asian countries. The play was also once enacted on the occasion of the school's Foundation Day celebrations I got to attend. A quaint story of love triumphing after the usual convolutions, the drama's medieval age values and mores also starkly contrast modern age thinking about relationships, and therefore worth a look in passing.
