Ownership Of Thought

Some people who have suffered cerebral insults or have an organic imbalance in the brain report that, between 2:00 am and 4:00 am on a given day, they often "see" a "sentient being" in their vicinity. This being is invariably on their left side - and very seldom on any other side. And they intuit that this being, though having human features, is not really human. In fact, the being reminds them of a deceased family member or some ghostly apparition they faintly remember having read about or heard about. Whatever this being is, it is scary, fearsome, sometimes accompanied with a very odd smell that they have never encountered before, and causes very odd sensations in the body, including vibrations and the raising of the hair on the skin. Overall, it is a very negative affect that is produced.
